La Navidad!!!! .... And Sickness

Image
Hello everyone how's it going! I hope you all had a great Christmas. This was a really great week and it was farrr from normal. So I woke up Tuesday morning feeling very sick. I threw up and I continued to throw up like every 15 min throughout the day. I tried drinking a tiny  bit of water and nothing was staying down. So I got super dehydrated and had to go the Hospital. It was kind of scary going to the hospital in Paraguay but everything turned out good. They gave me and iv and was chillin. Anyway Wednesday I still felt a little sick so we didn't work. Thursday we had Zone Conference and it literally was like a giant Christmas party with the President. There was singing and dancing and presents and everything. It was suuuuper fun. Friday we finally got to work and we were super blessed with some miracles. We found 2 people who have potential to get baptized and we found a lot of of other people as well. We weren't able to pass by the people who have a date this week so t...

Hey everyone! How's it going? I hope you are all doing great. This week was a really great week.      I had a lot of experiences with English this week. I met a guy from paraguay but lives in London. He has a British and Paraguay accent mixed and it's super funny. The lessons are really weird because we speak in Spanish and English so yeah. We taught English to a lot of members this week and they absolutely love it. It's so funny listening to them speak. There's actually a few families here that are preparing to move to Utah so that's cool.     Our friends are all progressing really well. We got our friends Sergio and Lizbeth on date to be baptized. We met them a week ago and on our second visit they asked us if they could get baptized. I literally haven't met anyone so ready for my mission. They're already asking questions like why they can be missionaries like us or why the heck they have to wait a year to be sealed in the temple. Really good stuff. They...

How's it going everyone! Another week down here in Paraguay. I just barely wrapped up my third transfer. Thankfully I don't have transfers. My first transfer where everythings the same. We were both expecting a transfer but are grateful to be here still. I'm really starting to love this area.      This week was extremely hot. We had exchanges with the Zone Leaders and it was 117 degrees so we couldn't really do anything haha. That's honestly our biggest challenge right now. Nobody wants to receive us in their houses because it's so hot. But on the bright side I'm getting really tan haha.     This week was pretty normal. We found a couple that wants to get baptized but they have to get married first so we'll see what happens. We have a ton of people who have potential to get baptized but they won't come to church. The chapel is super far away and it's hard for some people. So this transfer was going to be literally dragging people to the church so...

Hello everyone!! How are you all doing? This week was an amazing week and we really saw many many miracles.     For starters, we had exchanges with my District Leader and I got to lead the area for the day. It rained a ton but we still worked. We had a second visit with someone named Fernando. He didn't seem to have a ton of interest the first time, but I put him on date to be baptized and he came to church yesterday. Later that day we had a visit with a family but there wasn't a man in the house so we couldn't stay. So we went around looking for members and no one could come with us. We ended up just asking a guy in the street to come and he did. He has a ton of interest. We also found a family in the street that has a ton of interest completely by accident.      Our friends haven't been coming to church. Which has been really hard. So we worked super hard this week inviting everyone to church and explaining why it's so important. We went to church yesterday ki...
