Baptism, Heat, And Crazy Ladys
Sup everyone! Had a crazy week this week. First, we had the baptism of Canchichi, or Emanuel. He's the grandson of our branch president, and he's super excited. His parents are also very interested and might accept a date very soon. The baptism went really well. However, when we went in the morning to fill up the font, it turned out that a rat had died in the tank, and the water made the church stink. So, we cleaned up and called the firefighters to come and fill it. We waited and waited, but they didn't come. It turns out that there's no water in PJC, so they couldn't come. We changed the location to a different church, and it got delayed by several hours. The baptism ended up starting at around 8:30, but it was all good. Another cool experience: I went on an exchange with one of the DLs of our zone. They had a friend who was supposed to get baptized the next day, but due to some problems, he didn't feel ready for baptism, so they canceled it. However, during t...
