Haupei! (What's up in Guarani) this week was really good! And I don't have a lot of time so this will be short. Sorry. But not really.      But this week started off with us being a little bit down because of the week before. So we were talking and we decided that we needed to shift our focus more on the members. Which there aren't many here. So we worked very hard this week and visited a lot of them. Including the less actives. And we ended up finding a lot of new people to teach through this. We also had a lot of inactives come to church and a family that we've been teaching came also. It was literally a miracle.     Yesterday was my companion's first birthday out in the field. I could tell he was a bit sad to not be with his family and I felt kind of bad. So I prayed that we could just have a good, positive day. And boy did we have more than that. Church was really good, and then after we went to visit a family that the elders before had stopped teaching, but...

Semana 2

Wow this week was wild haha. Honestly not a whole lot happened, but there were some funny moments. We met this guy who thinks he's a prophet and that if he finds this rock, he can put it in his wrist and be immortal. And that he spends his whole life looking for it. It was very strange, haha. There are a lot of really weird people here, but most of them are so nice and  humble. Everyone wants to talk to us haha and sometimes it's a little annoying. But it helps us find a lot of people to teach so that's good. But a lot of them aren't even interested, they want to meet with us just to talk. Like yesterday we taught this one guy about the restoration. He said that he completely believed us and that he could feel the spirit. And that joseph smith was indeed real. And he agreed to read the book of mormon, but he said that he is 100% carholic and not willing to change. That was super disappointing. We're going to keep meeting with him though.     I feel like I'm fina...

Paraguay!

So i lost my email list. So sorry if this is weird. But yeah I made it here to paraguay! I arrived at like one in the morning last Monday then woke up at 6:30 the next day where i went to the mission office and met president alleman and all that good stuff. Then i met my trainer and we left at 10pm to our area which was an 8 hour bus ride. We arrived at 6 am and i didn't sleep at all on the bus. So I slept about 6 hours in 2 days and then went and started working. And needless to say i was dead tired. And it was a complete shock to me. So the first day kinda sucked.     But yeah the area i'm in is MASSIVE. It covers three little farming towns called Puente Kyjhá, Katuete, y Curuguaty. Up right next to the border of brazil. And they speak three languages. They speak a really weird version of Spanish, Portuguese, and guarani. I hear all three of them everyday. But yeah our area is so big that we actually have 2 houses. One in puente and one in katuete. So I actually kinda had tw...
