What's up, everyone! How's it going? I'm so good. I'm just happy. And that's it. All there is to say. Our mission for July set the goal for 100 baptisms – something that hasn't happened in years, and we weren't even close to that before. But this month, we achieved 133 baptisms as a mission. It's absolutely insane and is a modern-day miracle. Seriously, the Lord works in marvelous ways. We have two friends who can't get baptized because they need a divorce. But instead of getting all sad, they just started sharing the gospel with everyone, getting rejected like crazy. I've been praying so hard for them to have an opportunity, and we found a family by knocking doors that knows them. They came to our second lesson with them and bore their testimonies. This family had zero interest in the beginning, but then came to church this Sunday and is progressing super well. Yet another miracle. The Oliveira family accepted a date!! The dad has always been di...

Normal Week

What's up everyone! I hope you're all doing well. So not going to lie, this week was really average. Not a whole lot happened. Just working, and working, and more working. The Oliveira family accepted to get baptized on the 12th. Super hyped. We've been teaching them for a minute and they're super good, but the dad has always been difficult because he hasn't really gained a testimony. Yesterday they came to church, and we went over last night and I asked, "How was church today?" And he responded, "Super good. I understand more about baptism and I want to do it now." I cannot tell you how happy hearing this made me. It was like music to my ears. Another cool experience: This Saturday we had lots of super good plans. To find, have lessons with members, and lots of things, but it ALL fell through. Not a single lesson happened. So we visited a few other people, and then it was 7 pm with literally nothing else to do. So we went to a street we've n...

Crazy Week

Hey everyone! I hope you all are doing well. This week was quite something else. President Alleman visited our area with his family this weekend. He attended our sacrament meeting, and we went to teach some of our friends with him. We had lunch with Sister Alleman and all the kids, and it was a wonderful time. We had a large family home evening with many members, and the spirit was very strong. We had a zone conference, which is always amazing. I learned a lot and felt the spirit very strongly. One of my former companions got to stay with us before, which was pretty cool. I participated in three exchanges, two with companionships from our zone and one with the AP's. It's always really fun to learn from other missionaries and meet new people. We started the week with eight people with a baptismal date, and now we have zero. None of them came to church, and we already dropped two of them. The family that was progressing the best sent us a message telling us that they don't wa...

MIRACLES

Hey everyone. It's been a super good week this week. So, we found a daily last Saturday and they accepted a date, came to church, and will be getting married and baptized on the 29th. Another family accepted a date for the 22nd. It was absolutely crazy to see the Lord working with these families, preparing to be a part of His kingdom. We're finding people; people are coming to church and accepting to be baptized, and things are finally looking up. We had transfers, and I will be staying here with the same companion for the 3rd transfer, which is great because we get along super well. Sorry for the short email. Time just kind of slips away. I love you all! And thanks for all your support. See you all next week.

What's good, everyone? Sorry for not emailing last week. My motivation is just going down like every week. But yeah, this week was absolutely amazing. So I'm not going to lie; these last few weeks have been a bit rough, and we've been having little success. This month, we set the goal for baptisms as 100. For a bit of perspective, our mission hasn't achieved that in years, and we've been averaging around 60 a month. But when we were in the leadership council, the spirit was just way strong, saying that this is God's will. We had a mission-wide fast, and the miracles started rolling in. We had a brand new family come to church. We found a new family on Saturday night, and they tried to come to church the next day but got a flat tire. So they're good and might get a date today. And we FINALLY put a date with a family for this month after getting rejected like 30 times over the weeks. So yeah, I was kinda bummed, thinking I would be a part of the 100 in July, b...
