Normal Week
What's up everyone! I hope you're all doing well. So not going to lie, this week was really average. Not a whole lot happened. Just working, and working, and more working.
The Oliveira family accepted to get baptized on the 12th. Super hyped. We've been teaching them for a minute and they're super good, but the dad has always been difficult because he hasn't really gained a testimony. Yesterday they came to church, and we went over last night and I asked, "How was church today?" And he responded, "Super good. I understand more about baptism and I want to do it now." I cannot tell you how happy hearing this made me. It was like music to my ears.
Another cool experience:
This Saturday we had lots of super good plans. To find, have lessons with members, and lots of things, but it ALL fell through. Not a single lesson happened. So we visited a few other people, and then it was 7 pm with literally nothing else to do. So we went to a street we've never been on and just started knocking, which is something I've like never done because I've never had success like that. We got literally nothing, and we were about to give up, but we tried one more house. A couple came out and invited us to teach them. Apparently, they know a few members, and they have a TON of interest. It just showed me that if we keep pushing and keep going, then the miracles happen.
I love our Savior Jesus Christ. I love his gospel. I love the scriptures. The mission has fortified my testimony so much, and I just feel so happy all the time. Words can't explain it.
I took no pics this week. I'm very sorry. I'll take more this week. See you!
