More Than A Marathon

Image
What's up everyone! I hope you all had a good week. This week was great, and I loved it. It was the first week where I've been here where the bikes worked fine for the whole week, and it was sick. One of the days we literally rode more than a marathon on the bikes, and it was nuts. We have a lot of dates for this next month. One is called Monica. My last comp, Elder Biegelow, fell off his bike a while back, and she came out to help us. Long story short, she now has a date. She agreed to get married with her husband and get baptized. Kind of a sad thing that happened is that a family we were teaching, we found out yesterday that the mom and the dad both have divorce cases. Divorces take some time, up to 10 years here, so... yeah, that's that. Their only option is to end their relationship. We'll see what happens. But yeah, I've been loving the mission. Working harder than ever. We have transfers this week. Maybe I'll go, but I doubt it. See you next week!

What's up, everyone! I hope you're all doing great. Sorry for not writing for a while. Yes, I'm great! I'm alive! And I'm better than ever! I just hate writing. One of the coolest experiences of my mission so far. About a week ago, we were wrapping up a lesson and were going to head home to wrap up the day when I got a very sudden and very strong prompting to walk two blocks ahead and turn to the left. My initial thought was that I'm crazy, but we went, and there was a family there. It's a single mom and three of her kids. She's named Mariana, and she's the best. She read the Book of Mormon, accepted to get baptized, and came to church on Sunday. I'm so excited for them, and I know that we were guided to their house. We have another family that got a date. They just went to church and decided they want to be members of the church. Kinda wild. We also have many other friends that are progressing, but unfortunately, they all need to get married. We...

Ciaocito 2023

Well, 2023 came and went, and whoa, what a year! I was a missionary for the whole year, and it's a year I will never ever forget. I've learned so much and grown as a person. I've grown much closer to my Savior, and I've learned to merge my will with His. I love Him, and I love the work. I can't imagine coming home; the only thought of it actually hurts. But it's coming soon, unfortunately. I already have 18 months. I spent Christmas night sick and throwing up, but we were able to buy food and gas, so we're chilling now. Osvaldo and Dadi (yes, that's his real name) got baptized!! It was such a sweet moment, and more than 100 people came to support. He's been meeting with the missionaries for 7 years, and he finally got baptized. Him and his wife also got married on Friday. They're just such a sweet family. I love them so much. We found a Mennonite German lady!!! This was nuts. Those who have worked in the Chaco know they never have interest. But s...
