COLD

Image
What's up everyone!! I hope you've all had a fantastic week!! Not gonna lie, not a lot happened this week. It was FREEZING COLD. PJC is the coldest place here in Paraguay and many people told me it's too bad I'm going in the winter haha. But yeah it was really cold. Super humid, cold, and rainy. It was nice to get an escape from the heat for a while but not a lot of people wanted to hear us this week which was kind of sad. Many days we just wandered around talking to anyone we could. But there were still little miracles that happened. We found a new family, We had a friend who wasn't progressing for a while come to church, and I had many great studies where I learned a lot. So yeah it's not as cold this week which is amazing. I can't wait to go out and work like crazy this week. We have a few friends that are progressing and should get baptized here shortly. But yeah that's about it. I also have my own phone now so I'll have a lot more time to answer...

Birthday Week

Image
What's up y'all! Another great week here in Paraguay. This last week I turned 19 which is absolutely nuts. The time is absolutely flying by. We had zone conference this week on my birthday and exchanges with 3 companionships so it was pretty nuts. Super busy week. It was suuuuuper cold and rainy and foggy this week. More fog than i've seen in my whole life. Like I could barely see. It was kind of hard to work like that, but the lord blessed us with 2 new families to teach. It was kind of sad because we got like 20 people to agree to come to church this week, and only 1 came. So that was kind of hard especially knowing that these people have a testimony. but we're going to work hard and help them come to church. But that's really about it. Sorry for the short email. See y'all next week!

2 Overnight Bus Rides

Image
What up everyone!!! This week was pretty normal We went to MLC which is always a blast. But that meant 2 bus rides overnight to Asunción which needless to say was a hit tiring. We also had to prepare a bunch of stuff for zone conference and other meetings and it was just pretty tiring. A pday was much needed haha.  Did some good exchanges this week. We ended up finding the owner of the house we live in and she might actually get baptized so that's pretty cool. We invited 15 people to get baptized this week and not 1 accepted. So that was a bit discouraging but we're hoping they'll be able to get there eventually. So yeah that's about it. Sorry for the short email and the lack of photos. See yall next week!! Photos: - an open grave - a car splashed me - kittens!!
