133
What's up, everyone! How's it going?
I'm so good. I'm just happy. And that's it. All there is to say.
Our mission for July set the goal for 100 baptisms – something that hasn't happened in years, and we weren't even close to that before. But this month, we achieved 133 baptisms as a mission. It's absolutely insane and is a modern-day miracle. Seriously, the Lord works in marvelous ways.
We have two friends who can't get baptized because they need a divorce. But instead of getting all sad, they just started sharing the gospel with everyone, getting rejected like crazy. I've been praying so hard for them to have an opportunity, and we found a family by knocking doors that knows them. They came to our second lesson with them and bore their testimonies. This family had zero interest in the beginning, but then came to church this Sunday and is progressing super well. Yet another miracle.
The Oliveira family accepted a date!! The dad has always been difficult, but during an exchange with Elder Bogado, I testified very strongly about how the gospel helps families and extended him a date. He started crying and accepted. They all came to church as well. It was an amazing experience.
A Seventy visited our branch this week and shared about our divine potential. I know that we are all sons and daughters of a loving Heavenly Father.
