Cambio 4

How's it going everyone! Another week down here in Paraguay. I just barely wrapped up my third transfer. Thankfully I don't have transfers. My first transfer where everythings the same. We were both expecting a transfer but are grateful to be here still. I'm really starting to love this area. 

 

 

This week was extremely hot. We had exchanges with the Zone Leaders and it was 117 degrees so we couldn't really do anything haha. That's honestly our biggest challenge right now. Nobody wants to receive us in their houses because it's so hot. But on the bright side I'm getting really tan haha.

 

 

This week was pretty normal. We found a couple that wants to get baptized but they have to get married first so we'll see what happens. We have a ton of people who have potential to get baptized but they won't come to church. The chapel is super far away and it's hard for some people. So this transfer was going to be literally dragging people to the church so we can baptize them all this transfer haha. 

 

 

So yeah. That's about it. We started contacting everyone in the streets this week which has been working very well, but it's led to really funny interactions. We ran into a lot of drunk people trying to fight us and stuff. Super funny.

 

 

But yeah that's about it. This week was pretty plain. But I hope you all have a great week and enjoy the cold for me! Until next time!

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
