Return To The Chaco

Hey everyone!! This week was an amazing week!!


We had Zone conference and I had to give my last testimony. That was a really surreal experience. It really made me realize how much I've grown and learned on my mission.


Two huge miracles!!!


Our friend Graciela will be baptized!! She is the mom of the guy we baptized about a month ago. She is basically a member already and is super converted. Just her boyfriend didn't want to get married to her. But this week we had a fire lesson and they committed to get married so she could get baptized (he's a member).


Graciela's daughter Tamara had a date but then moved in with her boyfriend. She has literally read the entire Book of Mormon and knows it's true but couldn't get baptized for that reason. But after we taught them the law of chastity, he moved back to her mom's house so she could get baptized. She might get baptized this Saturday. We'll see.


Sadly, our other friends that we found last week and went to church didn't come to church this week. It was a bit discouraging but they're great and I'm sure they'll get baptized soon.


As you saw in the title, I'm in the Chaco again!! We came to do exchanges with the elders here because they're in my zone. Last night we hopped on a bus and arrived at 4:30 in the morning. We then squished 8 elders onto 3 mattresses to sleep. Fun times.


As I'm writing this, I'm in my old area, Abundancia. Man, have I missed this place. I love it so much. I can't wait to come back in the future and visit. I love the people here. For this week, we'll do 3 exchanges in 3 days with the elders and then take another all-night bus Thursday night. I won't sleep at all this week hahaha.

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
