Nuts Week
This week was crazy.
It all started with our neighbors going off to Asunción without telling us, and we slowly ran out of food. To make things worse, we ran out of gas and had no way to get more. So we've been living off ham and cheese sandwiches. Haven't eaten anything else.
The other day, a massive snake entered our house, and we had to kill it. I pinned it down and sliced its head off with a butter knife. It was pretty great.
We had a zone conference, and it was so fun. We had interviews with the president, and it's always a good time. We got to do exchanges with the APs after, and I was with my MTC comp Elder Robb. It was sick to be with him, and we had an awesome lesson about the plan of salvation.
We had the baptism of Alexander. It was a nice experience for everyone.
Got to have a huge BBQ last night to celebrate Christmas.
This may have been the best Christmas of my life. It was nothing like Christmas, but for the reason that I have come to know my Savior better. I love Jesus Christ. Every time I think about His atonement, my heart just fills with love, and I just want to teach everybody about Him. I know that He lives and that He knows us personally. I know He's there for us, not only to pick us up when we fall but always to strengthen us and slowly change our hearts. I love the mission so much. I only have like 5ish months left, and it makes me sad to think about.
