Forgotten Birthdays And Rain

What's up, everyone! Another week down here in abundancia. It was kind of a crazy week.


We had a zone conference, which is always super fun. I got to see some old companions and other friends, which was fun. We also had interviews with the president, which was great.


We had exchanges in Asunción with a companionship who's struggling. Man, it was a bad day. The dude I was with wouldn't stop making vulgar comments, and it was just bad.


We had the baptism of Jaime and Ercilia, and that was cool. We were supposed to also have the baptism of a couple, but they couldn't get married because the wife couldn't remember her birthday. Nobody else knows it as well. Absolutely nuts. She has no documents either, so that's kind of crazy.


It also rained for the first time in like 7 months, which was pretty sick. It is unbelievably hot here, but we're living, haha.


Work is super good. We set some new dates, and they all came to church, so that was pretty cool. We should have some baptisms coming up.

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
