Baptism
What's up, everyone! Pretty good week. Man, is the time flying past? Every week seems shorter than the last.
Had a few exchanges. We went to another city in the Chaco, and they gave no AC. We literally died that day, haha. Also, our ZLs came, and I got to be with my MTC comp for the day. Pretty much everything fell through, but we found a great family, so that was good.
Jisel, Karina, and Gisella got baptized. Not gonna lie, it was one of the best baptisms I've had in the mission so far. They literally don't understand anything we say, but they're very dedicated to following Christ. We taught them about temples the day before their baptism, and we showed them a picture, and they were just absolutely mesmerized. They told us that they want to go really bad. It was so cool and made me realize that we often take the temples for granted.
Cool experience. Yesterday we went pretty far, like 3 hours of walking but on bikes. We found some really good people. But our tire popped, and then our backup tire as well. There was nobody around, and it was like 115 degrees outside. We had drunk all of our water, and there was nobody around, so we were basically going to die. So we prayed. We had the impression to try to pump up the tire. So we did, and it filled up. And we rode, and it didn't deflate. We made it home just fine. It was a big miracle. God is really looking after us, and I'm glad that happened.
