A Very Crazy Week
So yeah this week was nuts so I'll just jump right into it
Tuesday:
On Tuesday we had exchanges and I went to another area. When we arrived, the key to the house of the other elders broke so we had to go around to the back door. But then my comp hit his head on the AC unit thing outside and started bleeding everywhere. So we went to the hospital lol.
Thursday:
We went to Asunción for a conference with half of the mission with a 70 named elder Costa. He talked a lot about the missionary purpose and the doctrine of Christ. It was really cool and I learned a lot. Then we went to the hospital again because my comp needed a tetanus shot.
Friday:
We had the wedding and baptism of Sergio and Lisbeth. For anyone who's been paying attention to my emails knows how crazy this is. It was a super long process, but they are so happy. I'm really excited for them. I've seen their lives change in big ways from our first visit with them. But yeah. They showed up like 10 minutes late to their own wedding and that scared the crap out of us but it all turned out good!!
Saturday:
So we've been teaching a family since I first arrived in this area. They've all read and have a testimony but never wanted to come to church. We were just about to stop teaching them when they came to church. Anyway we passed by on Saturday and told us that they wanted to get baptized. So we put them all on date!! Super super crazy. It was an absolute miracle.
Sunday:
We had a really successful day at church. A lot of our friends came. Lisbeth got sick that day but still came to church for the Sacrament meeting to be confirmed. We were a little scared for a minute but they got confirmed and everything was good. And we got the news of the transfers, and I'm going to be staying here for a 4th transfer!! Not gonna lie, it already feels like I've been here forever and I can't really imagine 6 more weeks, but I'm super excited I get to stay here and see all of my friends get baptized. It's gonna be a great transfer!!!!
This week was so crazy and I really saw a lot of miracles. Thank you all for all of your love and support. I see yall next week!
