Covid, Fechas, And Transfers
Yeah so this week was pretty nuts. I'll jump right in.
It all was very normal until the Exchange we had this Thursday. I was with my DL Elder Hansen in another area. We were on the way to a visit when I got a really bad headache out of nowhere. We kept pressing forward but the pain was too much for me. My vision started going blurry and was in immense pain when we arrived at the house we were going to. I honestly wanted to teach anyway but we decided to say a prayer to see what we should do. The thought immediately came to both of us that we needed to leave as fast as we could and go to the nearest pharmacy. So we went. We bought some ibuprofen and talked to a worker there. He had a ton of interest in the church. He told us he wants to change his life and come to church. It was so crazy to see how that all worked out. We wouldn't have found that guy if we didn't decide to do exchanges that day and I got the headache. They ended up putting him on a date a few days later. And my comp put our friend Fernando on date in our area.
Anyway I was still very much in pain so we went home and called sister Alleman and she told me to test for Covid. It turned out positive so we ended the exchange immediately and went home to quarantine again haha. We just can't escape the covid I guess. The next day I felt really sick so I was glad.
The quarantine sucked not gonna lie but we got a call Saturday for our friend Lisbeth. She explained everything that happened and long story short she moved back to Luque with Sergio and is going to stay and is still very much excited to get baptized. So we're going to put them on date this week (again)!
And then this week ended yesterday with a call from the APs telling me that we have transfers. I'm going to be training a new missionary here in Maramburé. Pretty crazy. Not gonna lie I'm a little nervous but I'm super excited because the new missionaries are always so excited to work. So yeah I don't know who my comp is yet but we'll see.
So yeah a pretty crazy week. I hope you all had a great week too! See yall next week!
