Training Complete

Muy buenos días a todos! I hope you all have had a great week! Today I'm wrapping up my second transfer down here in Paraguay which means my training is complete! I'm not exactly sure what that means but I guess that's pretty cool. I have now been a missionary for over 4 months. It is actually crazy how fast the time has just flown by. Especially this transfer.

But yeah this week was alright. I'll spare the details, because I don't want to talk about other missionaries, but basically we got in trouble for something that we didn't do. This made my comp really not want to work very much, and he got sick. So I spent my week dealing with that. But two absolute miracles happened this week:

One, we put a man named ever on date to be baptized here in Puente. He was a man that the missionaries had stopped teaching like 6 years ago. So we decided to visit him and just see what happens. Again, I'll spare the details, but basically he said that he had a dream. So we interpreted his dream for him. We explained to him the importance of being baptized, and put him on date. He has some issues so we put it on for Christmas actually.

Two, we had the Baptism of Raquel!! Literally everything was going wrong that day. My comp woke up sick, I was feeling a bit sick as well but not to bad. And it was absolutely dumping rain. We went to the church and the power had went out. And the font literally wouldn't fill. So we sat there, feeling sick and in the dark filling the font up with the bathroom sink water with buckets. We eventually got the font filled but it took forever. Then like 30 minutes before the baptism, the electricity came back. Then literally when the baptism started, the rain went away and it was literally sunny. The baptism went super smoothly. It was such a miracle. I got to actually baptize her so that was pretty cool as well. She is really shy, but she just couldn't hold back her excitement. It was just so cool to see.

We literally have like 9 baptisms planned for the next transfer, but I won't see them because I'm getting transfered. I really don't want to leave, but if that's what the lord wants from me, I'll willingly do it. I'm going to an area called Marambaré. It's in Luque, a city in the outskirts of Asunción. So I'll be much closer to the office now. Besides that I know nothing. But yeah I gotta go pack now, so Ill see yall next week. Ciao!!
