I Can't Think Of A Title

Muy buenos días a todos! Como estan? I have almost 3 months as a missionary! I literally can't believe it. It doesn't feel real. It literally feels like yesterday I got set apart. This week was definitely a crazy week with transfers but it was so good! My new comp is absolutely sick. He's from Perú and doesn't speak English, but I can understand him so it's ok. He's trying to learn English so we learn from each other. He's from Perú and because of the pandemic, he was reassigned to a mission there and was just recently sent here, his original assignment. So he's brand new to Paraguay and I'm brand new in general so it's been interesting  but super good!

 

 

I was really nervous at first because I have to direct the area. But I've been praying my heart out for help, and there have been people put in our way in inexplicable ways. We found a guy in a taxi, a guy at the store, and a little girl who wants to be baptized. So so cool. I'm really learning to trust in the Lord and follow the spirit always. We finally received permission from the parents of the 3 sisters that are going to be baptized that we can do it, and continue to visit to teach the rest of what's needed. That was such a relief. But yeah, we've been working hard and plan to put 2 more people on date this week!

 

 

Other than that, it's been raining a ton. I feel like I'm just always wet and it's kind of annoying. And the dogs are trying to tear us to shreds everyday. But don't worry, I haven't been bitten... yet. And we finally fixed our bikes for good! Thats been such a blessing. But yeah overall I'd say that Paraguay is finally starting to feel like home. I've been learning some guarani and the members absolutely love it haha. 

 

 

Mosiah 24:14

I invite you to read it. It's one of my favorites. But basically it says that if we place our trust in the Lord, he will lift put burdens off our backs. I have seen this in action in my short time as a missionary.

2 Exchanges

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
