Fechas, Broken Bikes, Crazy Dogs, And A Lot Flies!

Sorry, but this ones going to be a long one. This week was probably the craziest week of my life, but I also know its nothing compared to whats to come. So i guess ill get started now.

Ok so it all started on Tuesday. All of our plans had fallen through and we were pretty fed up. The day was almost done so we just decided to buy a pizza and go home haha. We were going to try to call some progressing investigadores in our other areas, but we felt like we needed to call a guy that we had found 3 days earlier. We had taught him one lesson and he had little interest. This time we taught about the gospel of Jesus Christ and he had a lot interest. At the end he said "I only have one question. Can I be baptized?" We were absolutely shook. But we put him on date. He lives in Curuguaty where the church practically doesnt exist and we run the meeting every 3 weeks. so the date is for 3 months from now. I could not even be here for it but yeah.

Then on Thursday we had exchanges with the Zone leaders. It was kind of scary because I went to katuete and had to lead everything for the entire day. But I made it though. That day we visited a family weve been teaching and we put 3 of them on date to be baptized. The three kids. Sadly, the parents dont have interest, but are completely supportive of their kids which is great. So were going to try to get the parents to be baptized too but we'll see. But yeah I survived the day. Elder Smith got absolutely bible bashed like 4 times up in our other area with the other zone leader so that was funny. After that day I was completely dead and Im still recovering haha. But very succesful

The next day we went to visit an Abuelita thats been recieving lessons since march. She is completely ready for baptism but has a bunch of doubts. So we went to go have a chat about baptism with 2 members. We read some scriltures together and she said we resolved her doubts. One of the members shared an amazing testimony in guarani and we invited her to pray about it. We have another appointment planned this week and were going to put a date for her as well. So yeah this week we put 4 people on date and we could possibly have a few more this week so that is just absolutely amazing. It was really cool to see the Lords hand on the work this week. I could write a whole book about all the miracles ive seen just this week alone. 

A few funny stories. We came home one day and our house was absolutely infested with flies. We have no idea where they came from haha. But Elder smith grabbed the can of raid and sprayed like the whole bottle of raid amd killed all of them. Our house still smells wierd from it haha. And on Saturday we recieved word that our bikes were fixed and we could pick them up. We were sooo happy because we wouldnt have to walk for hours everday. So we decided to take them to an appointment that would usually be like a 30 minute walk. On the way, both of our bikes broke again. So we had to walk all the there with our bikes. After, we realized we only had like 15 minutes to get back so we were running with our broken bikes and bags full of food that the members had given us. We stepped in our house with literally no time to spare. And then I was attacked by a dog yesterday. We were just walking down the street when a dog ran up and just bit my leg. But he missed so he just but my pants. And I was trying tk shake it off and finally elder smith scared them away. Im very grateful i didnt actually get bitten.

But yeah thats all folks. There was so much more that happened but my email would be like 4 times the length so sorry. I hope yall are doing great!! I see yall next week!
