Curguaty

Haupei todos! Como estan? So this week was pretty slow yet again. That's kind of what happens when you live in the middle of nowhere in Paraguay haha. But it was a super good week and I learned a ton!

 

 

So basically it was just a completely normal week. Literally nothing interesting happened so this will be a very boring email haha. But our investigadores are progressing very well and we found a couple of new ones this week which is great. We have a lot of people which we could possibly baptize this month so we'll just have to see. It would be an absolute miracle, but I have faith. This area has really struggled for a while, but were just barely on the edge of having a ton of success. We have some big plans for this week so stay tuned haha. Also the time is absolutely flying by. I already have a month here in Paraguay and it feels like I just got here. My first transfer is almost done and I can't believe it.

 

 

We went to Curguaty this week. We don't go there a lot because it's like 2 hours away. But this Sunday we had 5 people in our meeting which was absolutely wild. But it was probably the most spiritual sacrament meeting I've ever been in. I gave a talk for like 20 min in Spanish which was sweet. I felt the spirit very strongly. Afterwards we were walking back when I realized that I had been thinking in Spanish for the last like 5 minutes. Then I had that "click" that everyone talks about. And I could suddenly just talk in Spanish without thinking about it really. That was a really weird experience. There is still a ton that I don't know, but I now know enough where I can say what I need to, if that makes sense I don't know.

 

 

This week I learned a lot about "hear him". This week I really had to trust in the Lord, and as I did that and prayed my heart out, I could feel his love for me so strongly. I began to realize that the Lord has been reaching out to me in many small ways that I would completely miss because of ignorance. The Lord will never abandon you. He is always with you. And sometimes it's really hard to hear him. But if we just open our eyes and look for him, we will find him

 

 

Also I bought a guitar today so that’s rad i guess. Anyway, I'm out of time now. We spent like 2 hours looking for a taxi and couldn't find one so we walked for forever until we found a really expensive one. But we made it! See y'all next week!! Also sorry for no pics.

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
