Mi Primera Semana!

Hello everyone! I'm just wrapping up my first week as a missionary. It has been absolutely wonderful! Being able to always be dedicated to Christ is an amazing feeling. My district is so fun. We're all so supportive of each other. I can't wait to meet them all in person. My companion Elder Robb is awesome! He is so dedicated and hardworking. He is a great example to me. The Spanish is coming along well, I think. I've made a lot of progress this week. I've learned how to pray, share my testimony, and just have a normal conversation in Spanish. I've improved a lot, but there is still a lot of work to be done! I feel tired like all the time haha. It has been a difficult transition going from a regular teenager sleep schedule to a missionary schedule. Honestly, I'm a little tired of sitting in my office all day and I can't wait to finally get to Mexico and learn in person. But, It's been a fantastic week overall! I love being a missionary already.

 

 

Mosiah 2:7

"And behold, I tell you these things that ye may learn wisdom; that ye may learn that when ye are in the service of your fellow beings ye are only in the service of your God."

I'd be a bad missionary if I didn't extend an invitation, so I invite you all to try for at least this week to try and serve someone everyday. Whether it be something simple or big. You'll never know the impact your actions can have on someone.

 

 

Hopefully I get better at writing emails.I don't really know what to say so I apologize haha. And sorry for the lack of pictures. Nothing really happened for me to take pictures of this week. Anyway, I hope you all have an amazing week this week!!!

2 Exchanges

Hello everyone! How's it going? I hope you all had a great week this week. I had a really great week. Nothing too crazy or out of the norm, just working like crazy as usual. This week I got to do 2 exchanges which was awesome. I love doing exchanges because I learn so much and I build relationships with other missionaries. We had an exchange with a companionship called Yvy ja'u which means we eat dirt in guarani. I stayed here in pjc but Saturday morning I had to leave at like 4 in the morning to go pick up my companion and then come back. That took like 8 hours in total and I was completely dead the whole day haha. So basically all of our friends that were progressing are now not progressing, and so we had to drop like 15 people at the start of this week. That was kind of discouraging but we kept working and man did the Lord bless us. We contacted a guy in the street and he told us that he had never heard of the missionaries before but his cousin is a member and he had interes...
